Thomas, great, looks like a good photo. Very fine detailed.

I think, a little bug I have find: I feel the texture of the back plane is shifted to the right side, the texture dosn't right match with the conector (best to see at the loud speaker conectors). :)

Mr.King ......i think i can answer this one for Thomas ......the decals are actual geometry(surfaces) and i'm sure the backplate is a map.

Thomas,
Looks great, I like the detail you added…… looks good how u have the transistors on a skew not perfectly straight, it adds a very nice touch. And as always your lighting setups are great! :D

Micha,
You have some eagle eyes  I had to really look for that one; I wonder if it is merely an optical allusion with the camera angle

In the last years I have done much renderings together with my wife for her design study. In this time she have find so much strange details in the images, that I see something like this very fast now. She is a design perfectionist. Sometimes I say, - nobody will see it - , but she want to get.
Maybe, it is an optical illusion, but for example the line above the "+" are not alligned to the upper line of "+". My wife would say, - please do it again. :)

Micha, you are right. The diagram for the speaker is slightly off, as well as the "PHONO" label.

Thank you for catching that !

Ivox3, Micha, gOroº, iker, MarkM,

Thank you for the great comments !

mrking: The back face of the receiver is planar map. It is also possible to flip the map up-down, left-right. The cord is an offsetted surface with a map on it.

Hi all,

Taking a small break from the receiver, here are a couple of jewelry renders.
(In the first image the rings are rendered without the stones)
