hmm..to be honest...your vray version (and even the lightscape ones) are much much better then these !!! for me i decided to put away maxwell for the next.....i think month. so far i´m absolutly not convinced. but who knows....maybe in 6 month they are worth a look again. and the very new vray light cache method is even now faster and cleaner then maxwell..with nearly the same technique.

These are exceptional!

Can you share what maxwell material you used for the leather skin and any settings?

Very lifelike simulation!

Very nice. I would add a slight bit of roughness to the metal though. It's a bit too clearly reflective now, sacrificing realism.

Cheers,

thank you very much

@kunstraum: hi marc, yeah, they look better, but think about that i'm allready 'playing' more than 1 year with vray and only a few months with maxwell. there is great potential and i will do 'tests' only for personal purpose, since i bought maxwell for myself. mean-while we surely will concentrate on vray. how's it going btw? :)

@Tyrone: here is the scene with the mats, but without stools. sorry for inconvenience.

to metin: i think this is 'cos there isn't really a surrounding, so i'll put the stools in goncalos mies pavillon. but you're right, even the most polished crome-surface isn't perfectly flat.
