Obvious post process of sky, people etc.

Trees were rendered separatly, then composited to make them less 'there'.

22 Hrs...Dual 2.6 Xeon

C/C welcome.

Bring on RC5 :)

great render, great building.

my only crit would be that the road needs a texture and I'd loose the person lying down, they look like they've died!

I like the transparency of the tress, etc. by the way. This way they don't detract from the building - which is the main focus.

very cool glass/reflections 8)...maybe adjust your background a bit so as to reduce the large size black splotch in the facade reflection :)

Thanks for the comments.

oz42: I agree about the road..I had done several mapped textures but didn't really have a texture map that looks good on such a large plane. Do you have any tips on successful asphalt simulation?

and..noted..the people are all wrong...scale..no shadows..etc. :)

THANKS for the tip....silly me to not have thought of it...little stick people on a low res image to set up the file is great. Thanks again.

aitraaz:...agreed that blotch is a bit annoying. It is that big dark building across the street. This rendering was cut short due to the deadline (only 22 hrs...and a huge model with tons of glass..not long enough at all)..but I am running it again and hoping that it will all brighten up a bit. If you can make out the building in the reflection it would be great.

Thanks again for the comments.
