Here too, although not sure for how long..I have been away from my machine for a week, what the hell has happened to Maxwell???? It's all gone pear shaped.

I must confess I got a beta version of Vray the other day an it rocks in comparison to the RC versions of Maxwell. I always thought RC versions were supposed to be nearly finished, these don't even look nearly started.

With regards to work flow, do you think, as Maya users, that exporting into studio is a good way of working?? What if the client wants to tweek something once you have imported, added shaders etc, its going to be a nightmare!

All I can say is I really hope things sort themselves out otherwise I am going to have to bin Maxwell and find another solution!! I'm really glad I didn't buy the other 100 licences we were planning on getting..

We use renderdrives from ART for a lot of our projects, they have just brought out a new plugin with GI, it works very similar to Maxwell and gives about the same results as the beta. Plus they are unbelievably stable and rarely crash!!

Cheers

Neil

This is a test I did with the GI on the RD's..... The software is still in beta and ART unlike NextLimit won't go to RC until all the bugs are ironed out and the quality etc is better, this is really early days stuff.
