2048*2048 is the maximum resolution

Hi all,

i have found that Maxwell crashes if you use any
higher resolution than 2K...

mmm, I succesfully rendered a 3200*1000 pictture last night. Didn't try higher yet but I'll test it later.

Hey Gene, have a look the date of my first post...

it was early Alpha stage and the problem is fixed
with the -hd option :wink:

2,048 * 2,048 = 4,194,304

3,200 * 1,000 = 3,200,000

You have to mutiply the dimensions, not add them

How do you get the -hd option? So far all I've done is hit the render button from within Maya. Am I just making previews? How do you submit a command line render on Windows with Maya?
