confused: no maya linux plugin?

i just managed to install maya on ubuntu and am quite happy that it runs well. my next move was to install maxwell but on the download page i didnt find a plugin for linux. is there none or did i just understand something wrong?

the sdk for linux and maxwell1.5 has not been released yet

have to wait till then :(
