Request: LOD is not recognised by Mayall

Please setup a link withthe maxwell plugin that will follow what is hidden by maya's LOD switch. there must be a simple setup connection that also hides the geo from maya and from maxwell.
here is the screen cap of the maya scene.. 3 spheres that are difrent res. controlled by mayas LOD based on camera distance to object.. tihs is an ez mayasetup .. just select 3 objects and in edit menue make them a LOD group..
LOD grouping has been available since maya 7.0 so this isn't something new to maya. Just now wantedto use it with maxwell.. for things like trees and buildings in the distance this would be great for mx renders.

And the following maxwell render (notice how maxwell still sees all three spheres in one.. since the lower res green sphere is poking out fromthe red sphere)
