Has anyone had a problem with their maya scene files disapearing or getting deleted? from their scenes directory.. This seems to happen after I hit render preview.. I found that everytime i go to save a new version of the scene my previous scene file is missing from my maya scenes directory... So now i have a "v1bak" folder IN my scenes folder and i end up saving my maxwel maya7 scene fiel twice once in the bakup folder and once inthe reg scenes folder.. and sure enough next time i goto save a new itteration of my scene its missing from my scenes folder.. but not from my bak folder....
IS this somehow maxwell related?
dont seem to happen unless i'm workin with maxwell
or has my computer totally turned into a crackhead?

anyone else noticing their files disapearing?
or have any suggestons for me to fix this problem..
(i think its time to reformat my comuter this weekend)
