weird I noticed this too!

BUT i noticed that even they dont show up in the cmd windows, they still are appling to the render.. weird.. it seems that htey are stored somewhere.. at least for me .. when i open the scene and render it stillapplies what i had set in cmd line options even thouhgt nothing shows up in the fields.. they only way to clear this is to type in jibberish (rrandom type)"xxx" and hit render.. it will give and error.. and then delete the jibberish and render again for a "clean cmd line render"
