I tried the default emitters like, "B,A," and custom. The emitters do not work right unless you take a custom one higher then v:1

Are you using studio to put place emitters or placing emitters in maya?

with emitters, the only tests i ran for now, were setup (materials) in studio.
with sunlight i have just translated scenes, but i always render from a studio scene.

did you try excitance, Intensity, radiance ?

I tried those three, excitance, intensity, and radiance. You can see the emitter barely. Its not really emitting anything.

I have the same problem trying to render directly from Max. The preset emitters don't work. In fact, Physical Sky/Sun don't work either unless I open the mxs in studio and set it up there.

I got the same problem :/

I can crank the intensity up to 100 or 10000 without any changes.

I'm going to sing you guys a little song:

Studio!
Studio!

Hey, that's right! Studio's the one for me,
since the Maya plug-in blows right now!

Studio!
Studio!

Where you can set up your lights properly!

Studio!
Studio!

Better, in every way, for working with Maxwell right now.

Studio!
