Dec13 maya plugin-TEXTURES work (xeptSpec)

Well First off THANKS next limit and maya plug programers for releaseing a Maya RC plugin that supports Textures!

ANd, now for my findings on the:

Plugin for MAYA Windows (6.0/6.5/7.0) Dic 13 05

MX Plastic Shaders CANNOT EXPORT a SPECULAR texture map on shader... get error upon export when Specular channel has txture applied.

So far this is the only Slot that ive had trouble with assigning textures,
Ill post more with further tests...

oh, thank's... didn't know we would be able to use textures....didn't try RC4 for now :wink:

ya, well for the most part may RC renders arnt much more than balls


But it look like we wont get a rc54 for a while...

These rc releases have just been very very weak, riddled with problem, poor nextlimit has had to do too much in toolittle time, and quality has suffered...

my wish is that they go back to beta enginew and update it one last time with fixed clipmaps and maybe some other minor bug fixes.

But to answer your post Ryan,

right now looks like i got too much work to finish to have time to do a rc 1234 comparitive.. I just have to move on and keep working with beta..
