many thanks for your reply I will try to be as detailed as I can.
Also I cand send a file if the security at yoru work wil llet it come through. (Let meknow if that works easier)
I open Maya
The Maxwell plugin loads succesfully with no errors
I create a poly plane and polyshpere and triangulate them.
Then in the Maxwell Shelf I use the following built in tools just to keep it as simple as possible.
Create Maxwell Camera
Make sure my viewport is looking through it
I select my poly plane
Shelf: Attach Maxwell Object attributes to the selected Objects
Select plane: Shelf: Metal Material:Assign a new metal material to the active objects (The icon displayed in the attribute editor is black for this step... so I have tried maxwell diffuse shader also)
(Same steps for Sphere)
I then create a poly triangulated sphere assign a standard D65 Intensity 100 Emitter to it for light.
Then I click the render globals tab and set my rendering time to 5 minutes.
Then I do a batch render and it says Rendering with Maxwell
Rendering completed: See console for more information:
Yet no image or MXI output from the Output tab of the render globals is found.
When I check the Maya Render log it says everthing is OK until the last line....
Error: The renderer Maxwell is not regestired yet:
BUT I have a valid license and it loads fine and renders from Maxwell Studio fine.....
Any ideas???
