glass facade

hello again!

a question regarding glass.

how do I create a nice standard glass for a glazed facade, using the rhino maxwell plug-in?

the material wizard one doesn't seem to work very well.
I also tried the ateams ags_dielectric_basic from the material library, but I find it extremely transparent.
Does this have to do with the scale of my 3d model (I'm using milimeters as unit)? or the thickness of the glass surface (at the moment I create a single plane with no thickness and the apply the material to it)? or is it simply the material itself that isn't very good?

Could you please advise, and if possible send me a download link to a nice glass material.

Thank you!

D

The wizard glass will only work correctly on solid geometry.

try using ags_silver_25 or _50 or _75 to get more reflections ... I like them better.
Or as bubba said, use the wizards glass with a thickness on the windows

You need to give your glasplane a depth like 2 cm and it will just work fine...
