not sure on the sky section yet..only so many variations of sky solor to be had.. I think to harnse the real powerr of having a sky section we neeed to have more env controls over sky.. ie clouds/ weather/ moon-planets-stars/scifi bkgnds
be great to share procedural ecosystems and clouds etc for sky...

I agree with '3dtrialpractice'

It was a cute idea, but c'mon. Who uses it? The controls for sky need to be redone and simplified.

What I would like to see is Texture (not material) sharing. F*y has it, and it seems useful.

sure it would be nice to have more environmental features; i think the question right now is how can this section help with the way things currently work...

i do agree on the fact that the controls are difficult to use/understand, but especially because we are lacking a reference scene like the simball.

perfect would be a window like in the material editor (but larger), with a standard interior and a standard exterior scene for evaluation of settings.
,..but imho it would already help a lot if we could agree on some SimSky

let's think of someting...

Great idea! Can I suggest that it might be useful to have a standard scene to show the results of rendering with a particular preset. Would only need to be fairly basic, but might save a lot of trial and error.
