Wood plank flooring effect -- not desired.

I've circled an area on a floor I'm working on...it appears that a material I'm using is made of planks although it's really a continuous floor. It's really noticable at the circled angle. I've had to fool around with scale and now I've got the tile x and y as a smaller percentage of 1 -- wondering if that might be the cause?

are you using 8bit texture maps?

Do you have texture filter on for that map?

KurtS and Fernando--

it's a material with 2 layers -- floor and reflection. Both layers have the same 8 bit map in reflectance 0 and the same bump map that appears as a normal map.

It looks like it's tiled too much...?

If you have a bump map applied and you have set it to tile, you will get this. You should uv map the surface large enough that you don't see any seams, then use maps large and detailed enough to cover that large area.
