When i need to build a new material and i am in hurry, i usually try to see if it has been already posted something similar in the mxm site. What i get sometimes are corrupted materials, missing maps or folders with redundant files. I believe it would be useful if NL would provide some kind of contact form so that a user who would spot one of these bad mxm could signal it... and then that mxm would be changed or erased.

The first i can post is the last one i met and the only one i can remember for sure. In this case the problem is that the mxm is linked to the .tif version of the maps, that are provided as .jpeg

And here's another one i just remembered had problems. Btw, a very well done one. Well, actually mxed asks for missing maps that are not used in the mxm itself. Nonetheless after having refused to look for the missing maps, i still had to browse the textures channels to verify if those maps were used and then missed or no.

I changed the original text in the first post...actually i realized it was too "dramatic" and then modified it to express the right mood i had when posted the message: i am not annoyed but just trying to help improving this great resource.
