I'd like to share one experiment i made today, it's a slow Sunday so i'm not having much to do.
It started out with FilterForge where i tried to create a good looking map for relatively long scratches often found on aluminium, and then i thought.. "hmm, why not render this map huge, like 8192 pixels". And sure thing, i did and then pieced together this aluminium type material for Maxwell with it. Although i'm not so sure this looks like aluminium but.. who cares.

Download the material and texture all in one .rar archive here.. (42.48mb)
