No, I have found that grass with displacement never looks good to me. This one is mainly for covering large areas. For grass close-ups, I recommend using grass planes instanced. Also, for this map, I don't think a spec map or normal/bump maps are needed either. I just use one layer with reflectance 0 and 90 set to lambertian. If you come up with a good result with displacement, post it here!

dear bubbalo,
i just found this thread, searching for good grass textures for an big park project.
all textures i found up to now are so small with the ugly pattern effect.
your material looks very promising, but the link at divshare does not exist any longer...
would it be possible to upload it once again ? i would be very grateful,
