Can anyone help me make this into a seamless texture?

I need to use this Sisal material but struggling to make it seamless, plus most of the carpets that i've found in the mxm gallery dont look seamless.

Any help much appreciated again!

Hi Will

I did a quick test on your image to see if i could do anything from it, and here's my first attempt at seamlessly tiling it.

I'll try to create a better one now

Thanks very much Max - i think with displacement on it'll take too long to render but I'll try it with a bump.

No problem Will :) but i don't think displacement affects this material that much so you won't notice any difference. You can tune down the displacement precision and adjust the height if you need.

Did you make it in Photoshop? I was trying to use a texture generator but made it another way in Photoshop after. I'm sure these seamless textures are easy make but I dont usually make many as mostly doing product renders/noise/fine textures.

Hey maximus...
Can you do a quick render using your flat plane that will show a repeat in the maps tiling?

If your trying to make it seamless just use the Filter>other> offset in photoshop. offset the edge of the image to the center and then just clone out the vertical and horizontal seam. presto seamless map.
