Tri-Coat Paint

I am trying to simulate a tri-coat paint and am having good luck as long as the 3rd layer, the clear coat, is high gloss. I would like to be able to make the clear coat have a variable gloss level, but when I use the 'Coating' layer, I cannot make any adjustment to the gloss level. In the actual paint, we spec 4 gloss levels 3%, 15%, 55% and Full Gloss. Due to the different gloss levels of the clear coat, if effects the sharpness of the reflections seen in the surface. I really need to find away to diffuse the clear coat. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Don't use coatings.. just use straight bsdfs in Additive mode. I do accurate carpaints all the time, and never use coatings.

Thanks for the reply Mike

I didn't think about one of the BSDF layers being clear.
