can someone please tell me how to get the emitters to work. i am exporting out of sketchup and when a material is an emitter it renders black. i assume it is a simple setting somewhere, but for the life of me i can't find it. can someone tell me please tell me what to do?

The normal of your emitter surface should point towards the object you are lighting,

simple enough.
i am trying to figure out how to get it to export out of sketchup with minimal tweaking and have it render somewhat good quality renderings.
