Hi everyone,

After some months of silence, we are back with a great new MXM contest for July and August. The contest's theme is "Automotive"; it's all about cars, cars and cars.

We have some really nice prizes available this time around. The winner of the Automotive MXM competition will get a Dell E1505 laptop computer!! .... plus, the three runner-up materials will get an Apple iPod Shuffle! So get rolling!

As usual we will highly value creativity and originality, and we will not accept blatantly copied materials. Please upload your materials before the end of August, and do not forget to include the keywords "contest summer" when you submit your material.

I just had a closer look at my VW Passat '98 - not very inspiring...!

Nicole, I know you said the theme is "cars, cars, cars", but can we expand it just a little to include motorbikes? There are some really neat parts of motorcycles that lend themselves to interesting materials, and I think it still fits within the category.

"Automotive" includes cars, bikes, trucks...

this sounds great...although i just went to dells site to check out the laptop specs and it says no longer available, wrong model typed?
