Full download

Some time ago, we were able to download all the mxm library in one big zip file. I wish we could do it again.

That would be very, very handy (but I can imagine the bandwidth nightmare that would create)

:D Seriously though, it's an amazing resource, and a torrent file would pretty much take care of itself.

even if its separated by material type ex. download everything in the metal category or the fabric category

I've wanted this aswell, and I did download it when we had the chance. But to tell the truth, I always go to the MXM-site to browse or look at materials.

So I might just aswell download them right when I need them. Same same for me, It's not like I can browse through them on my harddrive in any good way anyhow.

this is also true so improving the zip file with a local browser solution would be extremely nice; not with fancy stuff or custom applications, just a simple html+script to map the paths... crosspaltform of course! :D

Honestly it's always boring to work with this catalogue collections, also when it comes to 3d models...
