It's a shame that someone is systematically down-rating Sabkarims materials. 5 times 0 - zero - points for excellent materials is not very nice...

yes it's really a bad and absurd behavior...
maybe it would be a solution to store the username with the rating (as practiced on vray materials) so that everybody can see who rated what.

The behavior of underrating is absurd, but it seems to become a reaction to overrating, also very diffused in the last period. Lot of Sabarkim's materials gets a 10 as first vote, sometimes also for ordinary materials, and maybe this disappoints somebody. The overall impression (that involves also my materials) is that the ratings are becoming every day more "extreme", and that people is voting, like football fans, the User rather than the material. It seems that this problem, many times started and never faced, can be solved only by a new rating system.

I really think adding your username to the voting system is the only way to have the voting be worthwhile. I think it's a great *idea* to have it, but as it stands now it really is becoming meaningless. I'm not even sure it's worth voting on a material you haven't tried, only looked at a preview for, but at this point I don't even look at the votes anymore because they are clearly so skewed.
Regardless, we should be willing to stand behind our votes, or not cast them.
