White Walls?

I've got an interior and I'm trying to create white walls -- i've got other surfaces in the scene that are glossy white and they reflect and show the white surface very well.

My problem is that I'm using a diffuse white plastic for walls and they are appearing as gray. I'm not sure at this point if it's an issue of not allowing for enough time to render or a more fundemental issue of material choice for walls. Or, lighting?

Suggestions much appreciated.

You might want to try Mihaii's 'Arch Wall' material instead- it's very good.
