How do people generally mimic moon light for night shots. I have emitters set up for individual rooms, but to make an emitter that would mimic the moon bogs down my computer. Is there a way to mimic the moon? Also its seems that the light doesn't travel very far. Do I need to model particles in the air for the light to bounce off of?

2nd Question
I'm having trouble using the basic materials found on mxm. Is there a known problem with mxm and intel macs+formZ plug-in? I have the latest updates for both maxwell and formz. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the previous answers. I have emitters working like butter!!

Why not use an hdr environment lighting for a moonlight mood? You could edit an existing hdr to make it look more like moonlight.

What trouble exactly are you having with the materials? Which materials?
