dumb question regarding grass material

Hi,

I've just downloaded the exciting grass material, created a box in 3dmax, aplied the material to it and when it renders... the grass just looked huge.
I tried to change the Global texture scale to 100 but it somehow doesnt look right either. Gets a strange strippy pattern, very unnatural.
Is it something I can fix in the material properties or does it have to do with the geometry I apllied it to?

Sorry,

just found the answer in the Grass Tutorial.
I have to make several uv planes and then apply the material to it right?

take one plane, uv map it... then.. only then make the clones.. I don't have Max, but this is how it usually works.. in the case you describe the texture was applied to all the planes together.. no..?

as Hervé said, make 1 plane, UVmap it, then clone it
