Frosted Glass

Hi all,
I uploaded a frosted glass material.... everyone who is interested can grab it.

Hi Nuno,
Thanks for posting. I'll take a look at it later.
I just did a jewelry render with BK7 ior substituted for quartz and 50% roughness.
It had to go to SL22 for 22hours on a dual core to look decent.
It came out like I wanted, but geez it took for ever to get *right*.

hey glypticmax,
22 hours seems to be too much time.
i tried to make a frosted glass based on ags material, thats is very good for examples like the one i did with the building. Dont know if this is usefull for jewlery.

would it work if you place a noisy material [transluncent] in front of ags_dielectric glass?

Like a film behind glass to reduce transparency. Would this reduce times?

I tried to dowload this material from the gallery with no luck :cry:

Edit: Sorry, this was due to a bug on my system. I've got it now
