Hi!
Can someone please explain to me, what the algo to calculate the userrating works like? I tried a few things, but nothing equals the result userrating on mxmgallery.maxwellrender.com

I'm pretty sure the user rating is the average rating of all the materials the user has submitted.

Was that, but not anymore. I think now, it's base on the number of vote that the user has received and also the number of material uploaded but him.

Just look at this guy called 'Jcaddy'

1. Tackboard; Rate: 7.67; 6 votes
2. Dark Brown weathered leather: Rate: 7.83; 18 votes.
He has a user Rating of 6.32.
I'd say it's either 7.75 or 7.79 .
And look at this: every user tht didn't contribute any material is rated -0.09

I think they have an algorithm that ballances things out, so that people like Tom don't end up in the midfield because someone comes along with a single 9.00 material to never add anything again. Makes sense.
