regestration problems ?

Can someone here help me out. I'm trying to register at the MXM board, but have not received an validation e-mail nor can I get it resent as the system does not yet recognise me as a registered member. Is the auto responder / validator working ? Or should I wait longer to get confirmation (it's been a day since I tried & don't have any spare emails to keep trying over and over again)

Many thanks.

It should be instantaneous.
Is it possible that the response email is blocked by spam filters, firewalls, etc ?

Thanks a heap for your reply Thomas.

Nope I don't run any filters nor does my ISP. And I've not had this issue before from any other boards that I've registered at. Can I ask someone here to resend that validation email? Or I can try again with a different name and email ... but would honestly prefer to stay as myself on all these forums :)

Thanks.

This is getting a little strange and ridiculous now ...

I tried with a different email, got the response straight away but now the activation link does not work & I get this error when I click it

"Error. Can't active the member. Please contact with NextLimit. "

Can anyone from NL gimme a hand here as I don't want to go through the "sales and marketing" contact that seems the only option I'm left with at the MXM site. Many thanks.

Regards Alan K.

Yeah, I guess once the original email did not arrive, then your username is being reserved ... now that you tried a new email address the system reacted to the conflict.

In your shoes I would try to email the tech support (and use mxm gallery as subject)
http://www.nextlimit.com/tech_support.htm

(unless Mihai, or Tom, is reading this and have a better way)

Thanks for your help once again Thomas.

I don't see why there should be any conflict with my new registration as I used a completely new login name and a different email. I'll give tech support a go as you've suggested. Fingers crossed :)

Many many thanks Tom & Thomas :) greatly appreciate your help
I have no idea what went wrong there & apologies for any hassles.

No need to apologise on your behalf, these things happen. After a bit of a hiatus I'm just keen to dive into Maxwell again. Cheers.

Regards,
Alan K.
