MXM GALLERY

Hello,


when I want use a mxm material of MXM GALLERY like for example "blue fabric" a window say me :

Texture no found
D:/3ds_MAX_6/maps/photorealistic_fabric/carpgry_bump.jpg

...and then the render no start
In the unzip file of the material there are any image , but no "carpgry_bump"

That's because the uploader of the mxm for some reason didn't include all textures required. But to be sure, doublecheck in the mxm that the texture is supposed to be used. Sometimes textures loaded in during the creation remain in the list of the mxm even tho they're never actually used by the mxm which causes problems. So doublecheck it and see, if it still screams for the texture then i'm afraid it's a useless mxm :(

No need to be sorry :) what i meant was that check the mxm that it's actually supposed to use that texture, if it is and the texture ain't included then the mxm needs to be removed or corrected on the mxm site. But if the mxm material ain't using the texture, only that it may still remain in the list of required textures from the creationprocess.

I haven't seen what mxm material you're trying to use so i don't know if it's missing that texture or not, maybe someone else tested it and can comment on it better.

It often happens that the texture used for viewport preview (the one that is selected when you hit the eye at top right corner) is not replaced with the new one and keeps requesting it even if the material doesn't need it anymore. Check that out.
