Do I need to have 1.1 installed for downloaded MXM's from the MXM Website to work?
Hopefully not a stupid question! I am quite good at picking out stupid questions!

Afaik the parameters didn't change, just how the engine interprets and works with them, and even that in minor fashion. So i'd say go ahead and test/use them.
(If you're talking about the pre 1.0 beta, the answer is no)

I have version 1.0 installed. It is just when I download MXM's from the Gallery, when opened in the editor, there is absolutely no information there?
