Wow!!, ......and not even a 'hat's off' or acknowledgement to Thomas An ....

What happened to the whole CG world etiquette when you borrow stuff ???
....so I guess that's suddenly all out the window and all is fair in love, war and 3d.

I agree with Greg - it's quite a tribute. :) I've yet to see something as functionally or visually good though.

On a side note about credit where credit is due, my dad was an aeronautical engineer for NACA/NASA for 30 years. He produced the star charts that were used for the Mercury mission. His supervisor was given official credit. My mom was outraged, but Dad just shrugged and said, "That's just the way it is." Those charts were used for years and years and may still be in use today.

So, is there by any chance he may admit the apollo projects were hoax if it's not dangerous for your family to say so.

What's your point? Why such derision over my dad's real accomplishment?

They weren't a hoax! They left a mirror on the surface that is still in use today for reflecting laser light to measure the distance to the moon. Which by the way moves farther and farther away every day. Some day, millions of years from now, the moon will leave earths orbit.

I just wonder Frances, nothing particular. You know there are many rumors around. It was not a derision, you said he's working there and I thought you might know the answer better. You shouldn't take it offending.

Isn't this already predictable without a help of bouncing mirror? AFAIK, nothing can orbit forever.

Believed by stupid people.
