Not Complex IOR, but here's a link to a page with IOR values for many polymers (too many to print here): Here's a page with IOR values for many other materials: Thanks for all your work, hdesbois...you're a machine. 8)

Hdesbois, can you elaborate on your process for getting these graphs into numerical input? We could give you a hand on some of these. I may need to adjust the scene for 1.1 - you can see there are some differences in lighting versus 1.0.

Hi,
Findgraph has a function to get numerical values from a graph. As I mentionned, with colored dielectrics, absorbance is much more important than refraction. I usefind graph to get absorbance values and interpolate them in the visible range. Then I multiply by wavelength in nm and divide by a big number (500000000 is a good start). Though there are formulas to convert absorbance to extinction coefficient, the results are sometime weird, probably due to unit mismatch (in some cases, you don't have any info about the sample thickness, so the formulas are useless). That's why I prefer to experiment by trial and error. For refraction, most of time, you cannot get accurate data at different wavelengths, so, I assume that the value you can find is ok near the minimum absorption, then i set it a bit higher at short wavelengths and lower near red. Just for fun, you can raise it near absorption maxima, but it hardly makes any difference at render time.
You can use illustrator to draw a graph, export as bit map and use findgraph to get numerical values: it's pretty fast. On the other hand, you can also make a non dispersive material and decide refraction is the same for all wavelength, since it's very unlikely to come by a scene where you would see dispersion trough a colored material.
I began writing a tutorial, but I hope this helps in the meantime.

Hdesbois, I have updated your collection.

Something changed with the exposure and your last few images, it may need to be set lower to match 1.0 versions.
