Hi Philip
in the first render i used hdr image only for lighting
in the second i used the same hdr with three lights ; one light above the camera (like flash)

Very nice result. Jewellery renders are not easy at all.

Nice work Seghier!
I've been trying to get some good jewellery renders myself, do you have any tips - especially on the lighting (do you use a HRD image or create objects with an emitter material)?
Cheers,
Gareth

Thanks Gareth
for the first image i used hdr image only and played with the new settings in maxwell render : Response , Tone mapping ( temp..)

for the second image i used hdr with 3 lights ; with some changes of response , tone mapping and multilights

i used subdivision modifier to avoid sharp edges and wireframe texture to create glossy edges
