Bright colored spots

Hi,

Looking for some guidance about removing the colored spots evident on the trawler in this image. SL was ~18.5, adjusting via Multilight won't eliminate the spots. Physical sky and sun were used, along with two offset emitters to illuminate the front a little. Port & starboard emitters were used (green & red) which I think may have caused this. Taking those emitter values down to zero has no effect on the bright colored spots.

Any ideas what would cause this, and how I can avoid it? Any help/guidance would be much appreciated.

Regards
Alan

Are you using any Coatings in your materials?

That's typically the only time I get spots like that. I'm not sure how to resolve it aside from not using coatings. :?
