i really like the head although the style somehow looks a bit different than the body ... but nice progress. looking forward to next update

The head and hands are about all that you'd see if this were a real automaton. They were usually dressed in clothing made of fabric.
They were often given a 'skin,' just the framework as on the one half to give volume to the clothing. And the face and hair might be painted.
