hm... i see what i believe is noise on some spots...
i'd rather think about around sl18 or so... (at least i'd hope...)

Close! It's 35.47. That little rainbow in the lower right glass is most impressive to me because of the path the rays had to take to get there. They went through 3 solid glass objects, reflected off of the ground surface, then through another glass object before reaching the camera!

Nice tests.

Here's our test:

SL 26.54
on 8 mac pros for 17hrs.

We've found that dispersion refines outĀ far quicker using studio type lighting, where the strongest lights aren't too bright.

James, nice image, can you show us a wire/ explain what it is?

Brian, those cubes have weird phong smoothing, perhaps it takes longer to render because the geo is not properly defined (also curious to see a wire).
