Hello my name is Fausto, I'm new with Maxwell Render, I'm working on my first render of a kitchen, yey.. and I love maxwell render potential.
I would appreciate some feedback's in order to improve my skills, any advice's or tutorials are more than welcome.

The SL is 20.51 and 15 hrs +/- more less.
I did not manipulate the Multiligth option in this pics, even do I did turn it on for the render.

The PC is a BOXX-W7620

I would appreciate some feedback's in order to improve my skills, any advice's or tutorials are more than welcome.

Thx

the kitchen looks really nice the only remarks I have are towards the table top.

you seem to have a small issue with the phong tag there - turn down the angle a bit more - the sides look slightly bended outwards. Also the material there could be a bit better, as it looks like dark grey plastic instead of stone...

(the renderregion could save you loads of time in re-rendering small parts of a picture.)

Hey Fausto, I'm glad you started using maxwell it's an amazing piece of software.

I'm going to give you a pretty hard critique...don't take anything wrong, everything i'm suggesting is trying to help you out! If you have any questions about it, just ask in the thread or PM me.

My comments are all based on the first image....

Camera angle is to wide. If the render could be confused for a photo in a kitchen in a magazine, then go wild. Otherwise, I would say tone down the mm of the lens a bit.

The floor material looks a bit to metallic. Based on the texture of the tile, it looks like it should be more slate-ish looking? To me, it looks more cheap vinyl.

The island counter top material falls into the same category...it looks like you want something that doesn't have a diffuse reflection maybe? but it has that and makes it look a bit cheap.

Those are the first three things i noticed when i looked at the image. Like I said, any questions, pm me or ask in the thread! Great job working with Maxwell!!

What is important is if you watch to kitchen images on the internet, and almost everywhere, is that the walls must me vertical. That's a ground rule for architectural photography. Sure there are exceptions but i think it will give this image more of a professional look.

(That's my opinion ;-))

Keep up the good work
