Hi All. I'm new to the forums, and just wanted to post some of my work in progress using maxwell. Heres an interior I started working on a couple weeks ago. the geo is very poor right now; im simply tiling a plane for the walls, while I design the space and get a sense for the scale of the scene. My main focus on this right now is the feel of the metal panel walls; Making sure that it is responding correctly to the light in the scene.

Welcome to the forum. :) It's quite difficult to comment on what you've posted so far, but it's looking cool for sure. Also had a look at your site and there's some great work on there. Looking forward to seeing more.

What is that?
I posted this inside a totally different thread.
I saw this happen the other day already - please fix this NextLimit!

I' d much rather liked that functionality to be added to the Plugins.
As I imagined that to be very difficult I didn't dare to ask.
What great sense would it make for Plugin-Users to have that sort of HDR-Setup-Option inside Studio?
Then we can also export to HDR-Light-Studio...

The most efficient way to work - at least for people who's Models can still change at any point in
time is to stay inside the Modeling-App for all processes.

I think it looks very interesting so far. I would love to know you rendering times for the animation? How much per frame, and are you rendering using a render farm? Keep going on this as it is looking really good!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Im not using a renderfarm, just my imac i7 with 4g of ram, haha...not the fastest I know. Right now I have a benchmark of about 60, which I hope to speed up. My frames are 30min each, at a res of 1280 by 720. The earlier wip was done at 1920 by 1280, with a much higher benchmark; I think i was getting faster times because at that stage, I was only rendering with an hdri. Currently I have the hdr, plus a small plane in the distance that I am using for the sunlight. It helps me to have a seperate sun, so that i can control the ambient/sunlight ratio more easily.

Thanks for the views and support. -Erik
