Hello all,

This is my latest project. I always wanted to model a helicopter so I chose the Dutch Police helicopter. I am modeling for a couple of weeks on the helicopter and it is going very well. I promised my self not to post any WIP images until it is finished, but I couldn't resist to share it with you all. I try to modeling every evening and make a WIP clay render of it. So the model in this image is in the most recent stage of modeling. The model is going to be very detailed and if the modeling is done i'll have to UV map it. That could take a while because that will be my first time with UV mapping

I hope you like it and i will keep you updated with more images.

No it is all polygon. I don't like nurbs

Yeah it will definitely be a fun one to render. I wonder if Maxwell and my computer can deal with this detailed model haha. But we will see. First the modeling and then the rendering.

Yeah Lars, I have litlle experience with nurbs but a prefer polygons. In my opinion it's safer to work with and easier to fix when there is something wrong;-)

Here's a small update of the Eurocopter. I modeled the doors and the door rail. Also I made the diameter of the skids a bit smaller.

..for poly-modelling. i believed it was nurbs. good job.

Here is another update. I added the rotorhead and a lot of small details. For example the hinges, cable cutters etc.
