Using Angle Map to Create Look of Turned Steel

I'm having issues trying to get an angle map to show up on the face of a turned stainless steel piece, which would give it those realistic circular reflections. I've attached a screen shot to show how it is set up. Any advice would be appreciated.

Screen Shot - Anisotropy Map and Angle Map are the same. I've tried using just anisotropy, just angle, both, and still can't get that circular reflection I'm looking for.

What do you see when you select "Textured" shading for viewport?

You need to adjust your UV's -- and you only need to use your map as an angle map... anisotropy can just be set high and roughness around 10 or so. Also whatever bump you have going may be causing problems... try without bump first then add later.

Best,
Jason.

Agree with the above, the flat circular surface need planar UV-mapping. It currently looks like the map is projected from the side.
Can happen with some softwares when using cylindrical mapping, then it's only the cylindrical sides that look good, but UV is not defined or badly defined for the flat ends. (might even get better results with cubemapping)

Thanks for all of the advice. I finally got it to work with the angle map and planar UV settings.
