This is the first head I have ever modelled, as you know normally I only model technical objects like cars and aircraft instruments and such.

Jeong-ho Kim posted a link to Sculptris in the of-topic section and I thought, well lets give it a try..
this program is so intuitive and easy to use that I just couldn't stop hehehe.

I've modelled this head right out of mine, so I didn't use any tutorials and examples, I have to say; for a first head I'm pretty proud hehehehe

Was surprised when Pixologic announced that they acquired Sculptris (that I had never heard about) and it's programmer....and that he was Swedish!
Seem to be a cool software ( downloaded it but haven't tested it, currently busy learning the news in ZBrush4 )

Yes Sculptris is really amazing, I had never modelled something like this before, but Sculptris is so very intuitive that it practically goes by it self, I'm just holding the mouse LOL

Here is an update, for this I took a photo of my own eye, to guide me a bit

Small update on the chin and mouth, they are a bit more pronounced now, I like it better

It's looking good! I have never even tried to model a head, only inorganic things.

The head looks a little bit Neanderthal. My apologies if this model is based on your own head. Kidding kidding
