update:
the ceiling is a plaster acoustic ceiling with lots of small holes. I should use displacement for them anytime soon ...

hmm ... don't know what else to do ... 
I won't be filling it with furniture. The only thing bothering me is the ceiling and the wood grain which is out of scale.
