Hi all
We are in the process of designing our new website. Before it goes live, I'd really appreciate feedback from the Maxwell community

It's still WIP with several of the sections incomplete. The "projects" section is the meat of the site......this is fairly complete. Please feel free to comment on the presentation of the work and what we could do to improve the "experience". Thanks in advance for taking the time to look/comment.
Dekode is a product design consultancy. Our main software is i-Deas, Alias and Maxwell. About 90% of all the images here are Maxwell renders. Site design is by New Graphic in Dublin, Ireland.

I really like it. It's very easy to navigate, with just enough "graphic effects" without going overboard.

Well ... it loads something quick! ...and in this world of zero patience, ..that's great, ..feels satisfying.
Looks clean, tidy & pro -- press on.

i like it!
except for the fact that sometimes I have to scroll down to see the whole content, where it would be better if the menu would stay at the top

It's looking great so far. As others have mentioned it's very clean which works well with your products and renders. 3 suggestions I'd make. 1) When going through the images there's a next button but no previous button; be nice to have both. 2) The next button could stand out a bit more. It took me a few seconds to realize that each category had multiple images. Someone less experienced in navigating such websites might browse through and never notice. 3) The category names don't really have any meaning to me. I guess they're the names of the manufacturer but I'm not sure that's a very helpful guide (if I'm looking for your service do I want to try and find products from a particular manufacturer you've worked with or am I, perhaps, more likely to hope to find a similar type of product that I produce). To that end, I'd recommend categorizing by the type of product or something similar. A knife manufacturer could look through 90% of your images and move on without seeing your beautiful knife images that might compel him to look into your service further. Alternatively, maybe you could give us the option of how we want to look through the site; either by product OR by client.

Thanks for all the comments. Clean and easy to navigate are the main criteria, so glad to see you all agree. Brodie....I agree, some sort of "search by sector" option is a good idea and one I will implement. I also agree about the scrolling down issue.....it's due to the inconsistent size of some of the images.
Again, thanks for looking and keep the suggestions/comments coming!
