Sunny side up with a little bit of bump map...having trouble with getting displacement to work the way I want it too but
looks much improved.

Looking good. I like the detail on the crispy edge of the eggs.

I agree. Maybe reduce the bump on the wood surface.

Closeups...way too much fun finding interesting angles -- getting very quick renderings with these images in V2. Metal could use some scratches. Added a little more postwork for the steam effect coming off of the coffee.

This has shaped up to be a very realistic image! Great job! What are your render times and computer specs?

Using only IBL -- reaching sl18 in 90 minutes for a 1200 x 800 image on a mac 2.8 octo, 6 gigs ram. Liking the results.

looks nice but extremley insalubrious
you should have a couple of fruits for breakfast, instead of a bunch of fet and 2 pieces of cardboard

Richard - some of the best meals I've had have been vego...but there's nothing like breakfast served at a good diner
AndreD - clearly you've never eaten at a "diner" -- you'd be seriously disappointed to see that fruit is something to be left on
a tree

trees are, where we all are coming from

grab some fruits in the morning out of the tree you are sleeping on an go hunting for some meet to have a fine dinner in the afternoon
