about 90.000 crystals , 3000 K polygons.
The design is compleetly wrong. It's only a test for a project with a lot of chandeliers.

How long did it take to render?
Did you try rendering it with dispersion turned on

daros, what are your material settings for this crystal? (if you don't mind sharing). i recently had a project with chandeliers and had a difficult time getting "full" effect like you've shown here. .

Thanks m-Que! 10 minutes rendering time.

Hi rusteberg, yes in my first test i had the same problem because the emitters have been to small. the i increased the emitter size to the bulb size and it worked well.
anyway, thats's the material:

x kami, a interior scene is coming soon.

Thanks sandykoufax and devista!

A bit wired material setup and the chandelier is out of scale. Should be probably twice so big.

Every building is so huge in Genova ?
It is a common theme in your work. Humans look like little ants in such titanic structures :)

I just sow that i did a mistake. The crystal material in this rendering is pure white lambert :)

x Bubbaloo: the version with dipersion is cooking!

x Thomas An: probably because most architetrure today is build for the media and not for the humans :) they have a pure iconic purpose.

wow! i'm not very familiar with dispersion but it looks like it will be difficult to clean up this scene.
Probably because rays are deviated to many times.
