Tooth brush

My first attempt at a toothbrush and bristles rendered in Maxwell
-comments/suggestions welcome
I would like to create some more closeups to show defined bristles but im struggling to get this to render clear and focused

It's a good start, but maybe the overall light is a bit flat? You could try Hyltom's LDR-studio:

Thankyou for the advice- i dont know much about using a studio lighting set up yet could you give me any advice on how to do this to use the Hdri maps? or point me to a tutorial on here that does
I would be really grateful of any help!

For a more 'in focus' image look in the manual to see how to correctly adjust depth of field. I do it the incorrect way by simply increasing scale of the objects but this can adversly affect accurate lighting.
