Time for another work in progress thread, which will most likely take a little more time than my last one.

After choosing between a few different cathedrals, i thought i´ld start out with this one. As with my old parliament project, i will simplify a lot of the parts to keep the scene workable. Plus, i only have tourist photos as a reference, so some parts may not be entirelly identical to the original building. I´ll do my best though.

I´m starting out with the main dome, so here comes the first batch of images.

Well, i appreciate the confidence Tom.

Here´s a few new shots, and it seems like i´ve mixed up the domes, so this one is not the main one, but one of the smaller ones.
Still, i will be able to use the base and some of the parts from this one for the other domes, so it will save some time.

Muchos gracias for the image Kurt. I didn´t have that one, and it´s definitely the best one showing the details of the main dome. Excellent reference shot.

My parliament render took me about 6 months to complete. This one will hopefully take a lot less than that.

Ok, the last batch for today(perhaps). The top for one dome completed.
I´ll probably finish up all the domes before going for the bodies.
Now i think i´ll have a meeting with Mr Jameson.
