Meet Mr. Mustacho!

he is a series of characters currently in the works. Off the bat there are some mesh issues. for instance more than two nipples?? and some funky triangles or something around the belly button.__Please no one take the time to repost the image with markups....we see enough from clients..... When i exported the densly subdivided mesh from Silo, i saved without regressing history. (will probably be smoothed out later when rigged-which i am not an expert at)

Any tips on character rigging would be great. I've created a basic "droid mesh" of basic body parts for a line of models. i was able to rig it with a biped in Max. will post some soon of him. Also created basic morph mesh of droid mesh's face for quick 100 frame study..... http://wanderplay.com/_thedarkside.html

Thanks,
Tom

Apart from the mesh problem you have already mentioned this is coming along nice. Maybe tomato sauce or mustard for the hotdogs hair?

I use Cinema with quite a powerful rigging module - so powerful I struggle to use it properly and usually rig my occasional characters in Poser 5 and export the bone structure in bvh format (all very inefficient!).

They remind me of Paris Hilton.

here is quick one for Fire Hydrant - Species A....... it's going to take some work getting the right material(s).....

Thanks Fernando and naikku!

My youngest daughter is in the studio with me today so finger painting is more important than texturing.... and there goes the quart of blue acrylic........ all over the floor...

little one is taking a nap........

this is looking better...... i took out the bit weld on belly and downloaded some materials from the mxm site........ haven't been in there in a while. it is a bit overwhelming now.

planning on shaping up the base a little more.....

Thanks Brian...

Here is updated Fire Hydrant..... I re-worked some areas of mesh and tweaked materials a bit.... i'll have to go pick out a new character/object from the many pinned up on the wall to model next......
